Fall is just around the corner which basically means we will be stocking up on cute boho scarves, chugging down the Chai Tea Lattes, and of course my personal fave: buying up all the Fall denim must have trends.
Culottes are definitely no newbie to the fashion scene, but denim culottes however have made a major comeback as of late, thus making them a mandatory staple in every girl's closet.
As summer comes to a close (so they say) don't be in such a rush to pack away your summer blouses and sandals just yet. Fall is all about the transition and isolating the key pieces in your summer wardrobe that you can carry over into the cooler temps.
First up: The Transitional Summer Blouse
Every girl has that go to summer blouse that they love to pieces and carry from summer to summer. What I love about taking a summer blouse like this one into the Fall season is that it makes the perfect foundation for a layered look, not to mention the color is for sure a safe bet for the fall neutral color palette.
Style Tip: When picking the summer blouse that you want to transition into your fall wardrobe color is key! Try to find a blouse that is still fun and cute but not too far from the neutral fam. For those of you who love color all year around, try a blush colored blouse for the Fall. You will love the look you'll get when you pair a blush pink with a tan boot or dark wash jean.
Throw a chunky card over this look and you're set for cooler temps! Or better yet, switch it up with a navy or brown blazer to make it super business casual.
Next, The Long Sleeve Crop
Take a fitted long sleeve cropped shirt, tuck it into to a high waisted jean and you've instantly become model off duty chic. Voila! Let the pants do all the talking with this look!
Keep the look fun by saving the closed toe booties for a cooler day and wear the most out of your heeled sandals while you still can! Such an easy way to look effortlessly chic.
Lastly, the Kimono done right!
Time to take it up a notch.... A kimono can be worn so many ways, but it looks so much better if you just keep it super simple. We love the kimono look because it is the perfect in between stage of being just on the cusp of wanting to still be on trend for fall without having to commit to the heavy knits and sweaters just yet.
Style Tip: Use the kimono as a way to transition summer dress or tops that don't have sleeves. Throw a pop of color kimono like ours over a white linen dress and pair it with a brown bootie and you've suddenly gone from summer white to fall chic.
